The MAC Exhibit Center, located at 175 West Cedar Street in Sequim, features exhibits placing the Sequim-Dungeness Valley into the cultural context of the Olympic Peninsula. Here you will find the famous Manis Mastodon bones and a life-size mural of this former native species. View the video narrated by its discoverer, Emanuel Manis, with images from the original dig and learn why this mastodon still draws attention from the anthropological community.

Curious as to how the Sequim-Dungeness Valley has changed over the last century? Peruse historical photographs and discover some early residents, and see how they continue to influence life in the valley today. Featured exhibits change quarterly. While the focus is on local arts and history, highlights from the collection are also presented. The Cowan Theater features historical and geological artifacts from the last century, and the Sequim Schools Exhibit takes visitors through a photographic journey of the one-room schoolhouses and districts that eventually consolidated into the Sequim School District of the present.

A different Featured Artist or Group Show is installed the first of every month. The gallery area provides a myriad of media, including the annual Sequim Arts Student Show, the Peninsula Scribes Show, and the Olympic Peaks Camera Club Show. Receptions are held for every show; please see the Events Calendar (on the top toolbar) for the dates. Before leaving, take a stroll through the Museum Store, where you can find art prints and cards by local artists, jewelry from local designers, postcards, children's gifts, apparel, and a fine selection of local history books for all ages.
